Release Spotify updates: Numb, OMD, Grimes, Boytronic +4
Sep 2019 06

We have updated our Spotify playlist “Releasemagazine.net | New Music”. Here’s a breakdown of the new tracks.

Vancouver industrial pioneers Numb are back – from Vietnam – and another Canadian, Grimes, has a new hypnotic synthpop single out. The dead and buried (?) The Knife has remixed Björk in a remix swap, and it sounds exactly like a fusion of the two.

Boytronic’s new album is out with the original and the new vocalist. The sound is basic retro synthpop sound for the retro synthpop crowd. Hugo Boss picked the classic “You” for a new marketing campaign. Another classic synthpop act, OMD doesn’t surprise but then again, that’s not their thing.

Mobile Homes on the other hand goes body (for the first time) – but not as Mobile Homes, it’s their side project Sapporo 72 we’re talking about here. We also have Unroyal, a new laidback synthpop band from Umeå in Northern Sweden and new tracks from Lindstrøm and Crazy P.
