Industrial music veterans Combichrist are back with a new album ”The Venom in the Mouth of God”.
Out of Line Music will release it in the middle of the summer, on July 24, 2026. The album features 13 tracks where Andy LaPlegua “pushes the band’s signature fusion of EBM brutality and hard rock muscle into harder, more psychological territory than ever before”. The record includes the collaboration “Demons Wanna Be Summoned” with nu metal band King 810 as well as the previously released singles “Desolation”, “RISE”, and “Feraline”. The album is available for pre-order: multicolor double vinyl, picture double album and digipak CD.
I caught Combichrist (Andy and Elliot), Priest and Aux Animaux in our hometown Gothenburg in December 2024 – a great night. Then for some reason they returned 11 months later with a similar electronic old school set, on a Monday and with only Likk as support.
