Over 200 acts have been announced for the seventeenth edition of the Barcelona festival Primavera Sound. The event is planned for May 31 through June 4 2017 with the musical acts crossing many genres. Of note for Release readers are Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus, Saint Etienne, Swans and The Wedding Present.

One would have have to consider that a live band such as Skinny Puppy would not perform a one-off festival date in Europe unless they were signed as a top bill headliner. We can predict other 2017 European tour dates to follow for the US based Skinny Puppy.
Sonar 2017 takes place in Barcelona 11 days after Primavera, on June 15-17.
