Korg create Aphex Twin inspired synth

For those who have always dreamed of being a virtuoso electronic music prodigy, Korg may just have made it a step easier for you. The Monologue is an analogue synthesizer created by Korg, with presets designed by Aphex Twin himself.

It is believed that Richard D. James has advised on the “microtuning” of the instrument (the ability to create own tuning which doesn’t fit into conventional ranges) and he has contributed presets for scales, sounds and sequences alongside other creative artists.

So, should you be tempted to indulge in your own “Selected Ambient Works”, or fancy a bit of drill’n'bass, prepare yourself for a wait – the release date is set for January 2017… More info: Korg.
