The first single “Isotype” from OMD’s forthcoming album “The Punishment of Luxury” is out now.
It is a poppy, hyper electronic track with trademark sound and a strong melody.
The self-produced album, their 13th studio album, is scheduled for release on September 1. Before that OMD will embark on a world tour supporting the album starting stateside and also playing Mexico and the Dominican Republic. OMD will return to the European stages in late October with dates all over Europe starting in Dublin and ending in Lausanne mid December. More dates might be added.
