Electro crooning from Julian & Marina

Julian & Marina is a new Swedish synthpop project, consisting of Marina Schiptjenko and Julian Brandt. Marina is an art gallerist and member of Page – one of Sweden’s synthpop pioneers – and Bodies Without Organs (BWO). Julian has been a member of Bobby, Kamera and Lustans Lakejer alongside solo work. They both have pretty good pedigree, then.

They have finished an EP called “Abscence” out on October 9, with a single called “The Knight” coming up as well. According to the press release they are inspired by both sixties France and electronic music, and call it “electro crooner”.
