US industrial act Flesh Field has returned with their sixth full-length album, “On Enmity”.
Mastermind Ian Ross has evolved the project’s trademark sound by seamlessly blending massive industrial beats with cinematic orchestral elements. The lyrics hints of his academic background in counter-terrorism and international policy, and the record explores haunting concepts of post-trauma and abuse. Tom Shear from Assemblage 23 provides guest vocals on one track.
While the digital version is available now via Bandcamp and streaming services, a deluxe 2CD artbook edition featuring bonus tracks is scheduled for physical release on May 22, and can be pre-ordered now.
