Spark! 3.0 – new album imminent

The fourth album from the new incarnation of bodypop duo Spark!, “Maskiner”, will see the light of day on May 27 via Progress Productions.

Fresh track/video “Zombie” (watch below) shows that founding member Mattias Ziessow and new recruit Christer Hermodsson have truly landed in a new (a bit more serious and dark identity) for the band, with a monotonous EBM-like backdrop and dominant, thought-provoking vocals in Swedish.

After vocalist Stefan Brorsson left Spark! in 2014, Ziessow didn’t work with a single new singer. Why pick one when you can use “all”. 2015′s album  ”Spektrum” used a vast number singers from the synthpop and EBM world. One of them was Hermodsson (ex-S.P.O.C.K, Biomekkanik) and he remained on duty.
