Ryuichi Sakamoto has died aged 71

The renowned electronic music pioneer, composer and producer Ryuichi Sakamoto has died aged 71.

His work, both in Yellow Magic Orchestra and on his own, has influenced numerous artists and he also collaborated with Kraftwerk, David Bowie, Brian Eno, Alva Noto, Iggy Pop and David Sylvian, to name but a few.
