Front Line Assembly to finally release “Warmech”
Mar 2018 23

First announced a couple of years ago, the follow up to Front Line Assembly’s beautifully cinematic and cool game soundtrack “Airmech” is now ready for release.

It’s been a long time coming, but since game development is not an exact science the album release has been pushed back to coincide with the upcoming game release. The title of both album and game is “Warmech”, and it is the sequel to “Airmech” which came out in 2015.

“Warmech” will come in several different editions. Digital of course, but also on special coloured vinyl and as digipak CD. A special extremely limited (100 copies) vinyl fan edition with some in-game goodies was also available, but is already gone. Check out the Bandcamp page for all the info. Digital and CD release is on June 18, while the vinyl arrives in August.

This time Bill Leeb has joined forces with Jared Slingerland, Sasha Keevil and Craig Johnsen, and the late Jeremy Inkel worked on the album. It will be dedicated to him, as he sadly passed away recently.

Meanwhile, work is underway on the next “main” FLA release, with Bill visiting Rhys Fulber in his LA based studio. Pics from the session revealed that Cevin Key from Skinny Puppy was visiting one day… Probably a friendly visit, but it would be fun to see him involved in some way.
