Phil Western looks back

The prolific Phil Western is a frequent collaborator with Cevin Key in Download and Plateau, but he also has a whole bunch of solo releases under his belt. His brand of inventive, atmospheric techno and ambient is really worth a listen, and conveniently he has now collected some of his tracks onto a compilation album. It’s called “Laborandum” and is out now on all major digital channels (iTunes, Spotify etc), as well as a CD and a limited box set. You can get it at Rustblade.
