Douglas McCarthy was admitted to hospital prior to the Nitzer Ebb concert in West Palm Beach.
The Nitzer Ebb frontman suffered complications from ”a pre-pre-existing, non Covid medical condition” and is now ”stable and undergoing continued treatment and observation”.
The show must go on and McCarthy and Bon Harris decided that Harris should step in to perform lead vocals. From what we’ve heard, that went really well. The current Nitzer Ebb tour will continue with Harris as lead vocalist until McCarthy can return to the stage.
