Electronic Summer 2014 taking shape

Organisers Depeche Mode Party have decided that there will be a 3rd Electronic Summer festival 2014. Four bands will perform each night at Brewhouse in Gothenburg on August 29-30.
The Birthday Massacre, Ost+Front, Scream Silence and Flesh & Fall are the 4 final bookings for the third Out of Line Weekender festival in Berlin on March 28-30, 2014.

Canadian electropop act Trust has just announed the new album “Joyland”. This, the follow-up to 2012′s Juno-nominated debut album “TRST” is scheduled for a March 4 release on Arts & Crafts.

Norwegian synthpop sensation Shatoo enjoyed some success back in the eighties when they released the albums “A True Story” and “Life” including hit singles “Overload” and “Santorini”. Original members Dag Brandth and Calle Varfjell (ex-Marcussen) have been joined by Per Aksel Lundgreen (Angst Pop, Cronos Titan, ex-Apoptygma Berzerk) and Geir Bratland (ex-Apoptygma Berzerk) for the new material.

Slovenia’s Torul have just released “The Fall”, the second single off their second album “Tonight We Dream Fiercely”. Johan Carlsson from Release wrote this in his album review in May: “‘The Fall’ is mesmerizing and intriguing with its atmospheric, dreamy sound”.
