PROJECT PITCHFORK
CONTINUUM RIDE
ALBUM TRISOL RELEASE: JULY 23, 2010 REVIEW: OCTOBER 7, 2010

You have to give some credit to Peter Spilles. He is very faithful to his original concept and won't ever stray from the patented Pitchfork formula. "Continuum Ride" keeps walking the path of powerful electronic darkwave and gloomy lyrics.

Stabbing synths, distinct drum programming and Spilles's relentless chanting about the darkness of the human psyche are Pitchfork trademarks that remain intact here. Strong production and several clever melodies, but we have heard it so many times before it's beginning to resemble the repetitive pattern of Funker Vogt.

"Continuum Ride" is not a bad album by any means, in fact parts of it are very enjoyable, but Spilles and co need to find ways to reinvent themselves. The sooner the better.
