PARRALOX
STATE OF DECAY
ALBUM CONZOOM RELEASE: NOVEMBER 13, 2009 REVIEW: DECEMBER 18, 2009

New electropop acts from Down Under are pretty rare. And when they possess the sharpness and dead-on accuracy of Parralox, please bring us more! This project burst onto the scene last year with an astounding debut called "Electricity" and has continued its quest for one of the top spots in the genre with brand new "State of Decay".

Mastermind John von Ahlen and vocalist Amii seamlessly interlock breezy and insanely catchy electronic rhythms with equally off-the-charts vocals to build a truly majestic synthpop beast. Piece after piece will have you spellbound if you're into hooks and beautiful singing displays. Single releases "Hotter" and "I Am Human" (both of which have been released as limited CD EP:s of 250 copies each) are great tracks but there are even better ones present on "State of Decay", an album also limited, this time to 1 000 physical copies.

Synthpop fans should really rejoice, not only because this is top notch electropop, but also because it seriously puts Australia on the map.
