NOXIOUS EMOTION
SYMBOLS
ALBUM ADSR RELEASE: UNKNOWN REVIEW: JUNE 1, 1999

Seattle band Noxious Emotion is very far from the grungy rock scene associated with the city. They are actually not very close to Seattle based industrial pioneers KMFDM either, but instead one of the purest American electronic body music bands I have heard. I do not know if it is due to the fact that they are from the other side of the Atlantic, but Noxious Emotion have much more depth in their sound and far greater songwriting skills than European colleagues like Funker Vogt, Leæther Strip, Wumpscut, and their boring likes. Despite this, Noxious Emotion are at their best in the instrumental tracks, where they find a harsh, but sometimes almost sentimental beauty.
But unfortunately: EBM has not been an exciting genre for a long time, and Noxious Emotion do not really manage to bring it back to life.
