IN THE NURSERY
EXHIBIT
COMPILATION ALBUM ITN CORP, ARTERIA RELEASE: JUNE 23, 2000 REVIEW: JULY 13, 2000

Few artists have appeared so many times among the Release reviews as In the Nursery. And it's not just because they release a never-ending stream of records. No, they are worthy of the attention since we can't miss the opportunity to point out good music.
And since this new "Exhibit" release is a best of compilation, I don't need to tell you that it's a true masterpiece. Lots of ITN:s greatest moments are on this disc. The band can sometimes be slightly monotonous and boring, but not here of course. Not only are most of the tracks strong and inspiring, they also offer variation because of the time span they're from: 1986-1998.
However, the ITN Humberstone twins and their band mates have always been true to a special symphonic-electronic sound with cinematic qualities. It's simply a trademark. Once you heard a couple of ITN compositions, you're bound to recognise them when they show up again. And they do - on countless records, in TV shows, films, trailers and commercials.
This CD is actually compiled for the South American market (!), but it's wise of ITN to release it in Europe as well. I guess this also makes it more available for people elsewhere, through web shops and so forth. The European edition comes in a special slip case cover.
