IN THE NURSERY
ENGEL
ALBUM ITN CORP RELEASE: OCTOBER 19, 2001 REVIEW: SEPTEMBER 26, 2001

Some tracks on "Engel" have the ability to communicate with the inner mind, to create a grand vision of hilly landscapes and lonesome wanderers trying to find their way in the vast space surrounding them. Others do not. That's generally more of a rule than an exception, which is a pity.
In the Nursery have been recording long enough to know how to compose moody film or game scores. And my slight feeling of disappointment therefore makes me wonder, if maybe I am impossible to please when it comes to this particular style of thought provoking music. I think, to a certain degree, I am. I tend to lose interest after two or three "beautiful" tracks and either fall asleep or pop in something upbeat instead.
Or could it be that "Engel" is just moderately interesting?
