This
is a veritable rollercoaster of high-energy
synthpop. Ranging from frantic club
hits like “I Am Not Your Gameboy”
and “Stakeout” to slow
and beautiful numbers like “Outer
Space” and “Emotions and
Photons” (possibly my favourite,
mainly because of the brilliant vocoder
in the chorus), the album has something
for everyone. Sometimes it’s
a matter of hit and miss, but the
supersharp production and funny lyrics
put me in a good party mood. And I
guess that is the mission for these
three youngsters from America who
call themselves Liz Enthusiasm, the
Duke of Pannekoeken and Sean T. Drinkwater.
