ERASURE HITS! THE VERY BEST OF ERASURE DVD MUTE, PLAYGROUND RELEASE: NOVEMBER 11, 2003 REVIEW: NOVEMBER 18, 2003

This double DVD contains 35 promotional videos with Erasure, as well as live footage, interviews, alternative videos, rare videos and more. Quite a complete package one could say, and rather fun to watch too.
It’s always amusing to see the early videos with Andy Bell and Vince Clarke frolicking about in silly clothing. Come to think about it, they do it in the later ones as well. But of course that is part of what we love with these two gents (?). One problem is that many videos are very similar, in that they consist of Andy dancing and Vince standing in the background. But of course some videos stand out, for example the hilarious video for "A Little Respect", and the "Abba Esque"-videos.
The interviews are pretty interesting, and feature both Andy and Vince talking about their work and career. At least if you are a fan, I think you should get this release.
