COMMON DREAM
GRAVITY
ALBUM BLACK FLAMES RELEASE: AUTUMN, 2003 REVIEW: DECEMBER 5, 2003

How I do enjoy the work of this band. Their sound choices, their arrangements and most importantly, their zeal. Common Dream are relatively new but their debut makes an impact that you don't generally get from a bunch of upstarts.
I cannot really state in mere words the massive appreciation I have for them simply existing as a band. You have songs like "Save Me" which pull you apart and then force you to reconcile yourself and then you have tracks like "Impossible" that are decimatingly powerful and yet majestically restrained at the same time.
The lead single "Someone Could" is another fine example of how much incredible work is going on in Poland. Common Dream is hailing from Tarnow, Poland. Buy it, and you'll get an astounding number of remixes, one of which is by countrymen God's Bow and is beautifully executed. There is also a cover of "Bloodflowers" by The Cure which the band completely overrun and make their own. Feel the waves of subtle twilight wash over your ears; buy this goddamned disc at all costs!
