ASHBURY HEIGHTS
TAKE CAIR PARAMOUR
ALBUM OUT OF LINE RELEASE: JULY 2, 2010 REVIEW: SEPTEMBER 29, 2010

After deciding to move ahead with his beloved Ashbury Heights project after the departure of the female vocalist, Anders Hagström recruited new female talent Kari Berg to create quite a spectacle of an album. "Take Cair Paramour" is raw, but soft around the edges and contains more than enough catchy earcandy to please old fans.

Kicking things off is the rockish club stomper "Anti Ordinary", promoting lifestyles and mind sets detached from the ruling ways of thinking nowadays. The use of guitars on this track effectively builds it up, adding filth to a super polished product. Ashbury Heights 2010 have found a way to re-invent their sound while staying true to their original formula of creating catchy electropop.

All through the 14 tracks on "Take Cair Paramour" the razor sharp song writing remains intact and hopefully we are in for more in the not so distant future.
