Underworld chosen for the Olympic Opening Ceremony

Underworld have been chosen to compose the music for the 3 hour opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Underworld's Rick Smith and Karl Hyde will work with producer and filmmaker Danny Boyle, who is the artistic director of the opening ceremony. Note down July 27.

Front 242, The Klinik, Combichrist and Hocico share the same stage

The German Christmas Ball tour is 3 days away. The Christmas Ball is a band package with Front 242, Hocico, Combichrist, The Klinik and Solitary Experiments which will make stops in Hannover, Cologne, Neu-Isenberg and Berlin between December 26 and 29.


The sound of archeological experiences

Belgian atmospheric electronic project IC 434 released its fifth album "Anhedonia" on Infacted Recordings on December 9. It deals with "society criticism, animal abuse, archeological mysteries and astronomical descriptions". IC 434 is Geert de Wilde and bases all music on one machine, the Korg M1. Dirk Ivens (Klinik, Dive, Absolute Body Control) discovered IC 434 shortly after the birth of the project in 1994.
