Client recruits new vocalist

After Sarah Blackwood left UK electropop group Client, Kate Holmes has been looking for a new vocalist. She has now recruited her old band mate Xan Tyler (pic) from Technique, the band Kate had prior to Client.

The new Rome trilogy "Die Aesthetik der Herrschaftsfreiheit" will be released by Trisol on 11.11.11 - November 11, 2011. The first album is called "Aufbruch"/"A Cross of Wheat", the second "Aufruhr"/"A Cross of Fire" and the third "Aufgabe"/"A Cross of Flowers".


Amphi 2011 sold-out, Amphi 2012 set

Haujobb, that has a strong new single with a strong B-side out will perform at Amphi 2012.

Last weekend's Amphi festival in central Cologne was sold-out for the third time since 2008 with 16 000 visitors. Bands like Nitzer Ebb, Die Krupps, Covenant, Hocico, Subway to Sally and Deine Lakaien performed live.

The organisers have already made plans for 2012. The next Amphi will take place on July 21-22 2012 and the headliners so far are The Sisters of Mercy, Haujobb, DAF, Camouflage, Tyske Ludder, Corvus Corax and Seabound.


 

Debut single from ex-And One men in August

Chris Ruiz and Gio van Oli, who have just left And One, have already recorded their debut single - as PAKT. Out of Line will release "Freiheit" on August 12 with the original versions of the songs "Freiheit" and "Angriff", and "Freiheit" remixes by Robert Görl (DAF), G. Thomas (Funker Vogt) and Formalin. PAKT is about "heart, voice and mayhem" that is "probing the frontiers of EBM and electropop" Chris and Gio says.
