Chris Peterson's Decree gets a date

Mar 31, 2011 | By: Johan Carlsson (Stockholm, Sweden)

Front Line Assembly noise guru and producer Chris Peterson has been diligently working on new material from his project Decree for quite a while now.

The band is now a trio consisting of Chris, Sean Lawson and Ross Redhead. After looking for a new label they've now been added to the Artoffact roster, and has a solid release date for "Fateless", their third full length album. It's out on May 3, and promises to rip your ears off and have them for dinner, if the last album is anything to go by. Dark, heavy as fuck industrial.

New Vince Clarke and Alan Wilder Depeche Mode remixes coming your way

Mar 23, 2011 | By: Johan Carlsson (Stockholm, Sweden)

We have known for quite some time now that Depeche Mode were working on a new remix album, a follow-up to "Remixes 81>04", including remixes from former band mates Alan Wilder and Vince Clarke. Finally, "Remixes 2: 81-11" has been announced, and it seems like a very interesting package indeed.

Except for Vince Clarke remixing "Behind the Wheel" and Alan Wilder reworking a new DM tune ("In Chains"), we get to hear Röyksopp's take on "Puppets" and also some rare, classic remixes such as "Happiest Girl (Pulsating Orbital Vocal Mix)" that's been pretty hard to come by before.

The album will be released in two versions on CD - one disc, or three discs. It will also be available digitally and on vinyl (six LPs!). It hits the waiting public on June 6, via Mute Records.
