According to the Depeche fansite Home, the remaining remasters of old Depeche Mode albums now have release dates. At least for Germany, but they expect the rest of Europe to follow very close. The US should have a simultaneous release date this time around. Note also that “101” and “Songs of Faith and Devotion Live” are included now as well.

September 8: “Ultra”, “Songs of Faith and Devotion Live”.

September 22: “101”, “Black Celebration”, “Construction Time Again”, “Exciter”.

September 29: “A Broken Frame”, “Songs of Faith and Devotion”, “Some Great Reward”.

A live DVD called “Touring the Angel: Live in Milan” will be out on September 29 too. It’s going to be a special edition 3-disc set, with a full-length live-show and lots of extras on two DVD:s, and a live audio CD. It was recorded in Milan, Italy, during two nights in February.

Tangerine Dream 40th anniversary

Jul 7 2006 | By: Mike Whyte (Tokyo, Japan)

Tangerine Dream celebrate their 40th year (!) in the music business with a world tour and new studio album. The tour is to kick off on September 21 as part of Popkomm in Berlin, one of the world's premier music business events. Popkomm is currently heading into its 18th incarnation. As a timely coincidence, it is Berlin where founder Edgar Froese originally formed Tangerine Dream, exactly 40 years ago.

In related news, "2101" is the working title for the next studio album - described as being "a musical science fiction story in which a time traveler fails to return to earth". The album is due for completion this August, and will be released to coincide with the world tour.

We will provide more information on dates and locations for the world tour, along with the exact album release date, as we get them.
